Technical Inside Sales (HVAC & Air Distribution)

As an Inside Technical Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to support our network of manufacturer reps, our sales staff, mechanical engineers, and architects—through product recommendations and selection, performance simulations, or simply by answering technical questions via email or phone. You’ll also be responsible for processing quotation requests and customer orders.

 Duties and Responsibilities

·       Maintain strong relationships with our manufacturer’s reps and sales team, providing the support they need in their sales efforts.

·       Answer technical questions about our products.

·       Assist in selecting the right products for specific applications.

·       Use our selection software to simulate air-distribution performance for specific applications.

·       Prepare quotations for customers.

·       Receive and process customer orders.

 Required Skills, Knowledge and Aptitudes

·       A college diploma or university degree in building mechanics is preferred.

·       Knowledge of HVAC and air distribution is a major asset.

·       Must have strong communication and technical skills.

·       Preferably bilingual (English/French), with strong spoken and written proficiency in both languages.

·       Attention to detail and the ability to handle a high volume of requests while minimizing errors.

·       Problem-solving skills.

·       Self-sufficient, self-motivated, and independent.

·       Ability to support mechanical engineers and sales representatives in their designs by proposing appropriate and sometimes creative solutions.

·       Must be able to pass pre-employment screening requirements.
