Director, Energy Efficiency – Enairgi

Engineering
Blainville, Qc
Full-time

We are looking for the engineer who will take the lead of Enairgi, our new energy efficiency engineering division.

Enairgi (www.enairgi.com) is developing a high-impact approach that addresses an important limitation of traditional energy modeling: the actual performance of air distribution and air mixing within rooms is still largely simplified in whole-building energy analysis.

By combining EnergyPlus, DesignBuilder, CFD, building mechanical engineering, and advanced air distribution expertise, we can identify and quantify energy savings that are often overlooked by conventional approaches.

This methodology has the potential to significantly change how building energy efficiency is approached and create a new category of engineering services across North America.

We anticipate very strong growth for Enairgi over the coming years and are looking for a technical and entrepreneurial leader who will directly contribute to building that growth: developing the practice, advancing our methods, overseeing projects, and progressively building a high-performing technical team.

You are not joining us to manage an already established department. You are joining us to help build a new engineering practice that we intend to scale worldwide.

About EffectiV and Enairgi

EffectiV designs and manufactures high-performance air distribution solutions for commercial and institutional buildings. We actively invest in air-mixing science, modeling, and the development of innovative solutions that improve both occupant comfort and building energy performance.

Enairgi is our new division specializing in energy efficiency engineering.

Its mission is to complement traditional energy modeling approaches by more accurately integrating the real impact of air distribution and air mixing within the different zones of a building.

This approach allows us to explore a source of energy savings that remains largely underutilized in the industry. Our ambition is clear: to make Enairgi a new reference in energy efficiency and deploy this methodology throughout Canada and the United States.

Our company values are: efficiency, creativity, integrity, environment, and well-being.
